Growing in Faith Together
Small Christian Communities (SCCs) are the foundation of parish life, bringing the Church closer to the people through neighborhood-based communities of faith. They provide a space where members gather regularly to pray, reflect on the Word of God, share their experiences of faith, and support one another in living out the Gospel in daily life.
Inspired by the early Christian communities, SCCs foster a sense of belonging and spiritual growth by encouraging active participation in the life and mission of the Church. Through regular meetings, members deepen their understanding of Scripture, strengthen their relationship with Christ, and build meaningful relationships with fellow Christians.
Our Mission
The mission of Small Christian Communities is to create vibrant, faith-filled communities where members:
- Grow in their knowledge and love of God through prayer and Scripture.
- Support one another spiritually, emotionally, and socially.
- Promote Christian values within families and society.
- Participate actively in the life and mission of the parish.
- Reach out to those in need through acts of charity and service.
- Foster evangelization within their neighborhoods and communities.
What We Do
Members of SCCs meet regularly to:
- Reflect on and share the Sunday Gospel readings.
- Pray together as a community.
- Visit and support the sick, elderly, and bereaved.
- Encourage participation in parish programs and activities.
- Celebrate important moments in the lives of members.
- Promote unity, fellowship, and mutual support among families.
